  • THE MISSOURI STATE UNIVERSITY CHORALE

    The Missouri State University Chorale is led by Cameron LaBarr,
    conductor and Parker Payne, collaborative pianist.

    The Chorale performs regularly at national and international festivals, conferences, and competitions.
    The MSU Chorale has performed by invitation at presidential and gubernatorial inaugurations in the United States.

    Within the past decade, the Chorale has toured South Africa (2016 and 2022),
    and also to Iceland, Norway, Denmark, and Sweden (2018), to China (2018),
    to South Korea (February 2024), and most recently to Chile and Argentina (May 2024).

    Cameron LaBarr

    Cameron LaBarr is director of choral studies and the Clif and Gail Smart professor in music at Missouri State University.

    He earned the M.M. and D.M.A. from the University of North Texas where he studied with Jerry McCoy and Richard Sparks.

    Dr. LaBarr has an international reputation as conductor, clinician, and choral juror across North America, South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia, and serves as board member for the International Federation for Choral Music.

    Dr. LaBarr’s recent engagements include concerts and events in Indonesia, France, Chile, Argentina, South Korea, South Africa, and Spain.

  • Naju City Choir

    Founded in June 2016 under the leadership of Director Sang-Hyun Ahn,
    the Naju City Choir has consistently delivered emotional and inspiring performances to the public,
    showcasing a wide-ranging repertoire from traditional choral music to popular genres
    with exceptional skill and passion.

    With sold-out performances at every concert,
    the Naju City Choir continues to raise the cultural profile of Naju City
    through artistically refined yet accessible programs, striving to be a choir
    that remains close to the hearts of its citizens under the artistic direction of Jin Jeon.

  • The Jeju City Choir

    The Jeju City Choir, which brings the beauty of nature to life through music, was founded in 1985. Through a diverse repertoire and innovative programming spanning Renaissance, classical, and contemporary music, the choir has established itself as one of Korea’s leading professional choral ensembles.

    The choir strives to cultivate both an accessible choral culture that resonates with the general public and a professional choral culture that fully expresses the artistic and expressive possibilities of choral music on stage. Through music and art in harmony with Jeju’s beautiful natural surroundings, the Jeju Choir is dedicated to bringing happiness to the people of Jeju and to serving as a source of inspiration for a better tomorrow and a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

    World Angel Peace is a youth arts education organization
    established in 2016 with the aim of nurturing artistic talent in South Korea and Busan.

    Targeting youth with an average age from elementary and middle schools,
    the organization provides specialized education in
    various artistic fields to help them grow into future leaders of K-Culture.
    Through domestic and international performances,
    they promote South Korean arts and contribute to enhancing national prestige.
